2020 started off with a bang

Folks were enjoying with their gang

Then came the virus with a dance

It definitely had a plan

World was shaken

Lives were taken

Heart was broken

Many were forsaken

Buildings became vacant

Stay at home was prevalent

It was the new movement

Oh, Life wasn’t so pleasant

We didn’t have a choice

Over this virus which annoys

It took our joy

From the things we usually enjoy

Covid was not only a life destroyer

But it proved itself to be a teacher

It taught us lessons

We have made thus far
